A business analyst job purpose is to analyze and document the market environment, processes, or systems of businesses. This includes creating detailed business analysis for Cash Management and Trade Products, budgeting, and forecasting, planning, and monitoring, variance analysis, pricing, reporting, and defining business requirements for stakeholders.
Business analyst facilitates the translation of business requirements into solution requirements and follow through during product development and testing to assess and validate that the developed technology and digital solutions are meeting business, product, and customers’ requirements.
Further candidate should play a crucial role in the migration of payment platforms, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining high standards of security and efficiency. This role will focus on mock migration testing, migration report validation, post-migration support, and effective stakeholder management.
Role & Responsibilities:
Global Transaction Banking Domain experience is essential in Cash Management and Trade Finance. (Accounts & Deposits, Payments, Host to Host Transactions, Customer onboarding/User Entitlements, Payment gateways, statements, Import Export LC, Guarantees, Advising and Import-Export Collections etc.)
Domain expert in the Cash Management / Trade Finance market, passionate about translating visions into solutions and contributing to a continuous cutting-edge business and organization customer experience.
Understanding business objectives, and strategic plans with high capability to comprehend the organization’s goals and problems to be solved.
Design and execute detailed mock migration test plans to simulate the migration process, identify and document any issues or discrepancies encountered during testing, and work closely with technical teams to resolve issues and optimize migration strategies.
Developing and validating migration reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy, performing thorough checks and reconciliations of migrated data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards will be crucial.
Leading the design and implementation of payment system migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and security during the migration process, and conducting system testing and validation to ensure successful migration.
Post-migration support to address any issues, monitor system performance and user feedback to identify and resolve challenges, and ensure a seamless transition for end-users.
Serving as a main point of contact for all migration-related inquiries, communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and facilitating meetings and workshops to ensure alignment with all the stakeholders.
Create detailed documentation of new processes, systems, and workflows, develop training materials, conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization post-migration, provide recommendations for enhancing the performance and reliability of payment systems, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in payment systems and migrations.
Participating in user acceptance testing and undertaking functional testing of new systems
Assisting business and product intent meetings and coaching technical and non-business staff on the product intent, business requirements and value to customers.
Skilled in reviewing SIT, UAT test cases and ensuring all positive and negative functional and non-functional scenarios are covered.
Able to guide the business on value-added changes and avoid non-value-added changes with focus on business process transformation.
Work closely with Product Owner and Business stakeholders to identify the prioritized backlog items and expand the required user stories in an incremental deliverable.
Experience & Education:
5-7 years’ experience in the banking industry, project and program management experience specifically focused on testing management activities.
Experience with system migration projects, including planning, execution, and postimplementation support.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage diverse teams drawing on different skills to enable strong team results.
Able to plan and replan with all stakeholders’ concurrence to ensure test stages completeness within planned timelines.
Functional and technology knowledge of major banking applications. Experience with Oracle banking products (GTB) is a plus.
Experience in managing Senior Stakeholder.
Strong organizational and presentation capability.
Take initiative in implementing strict project/program management guidelines and disciplines.
Skilled in MS Office applications word, excel, PowerPoint, visio, Jira or equivalent Confluence.
